Äme Anderberg managed to find the right motivation and ride his best time trial ever. He barely defended his overall lead, where he now is only 9 seconds in front of Cristoval Moretta (The mighty) who seems to be the nearest competitor for the over all win.
Team manager Nick Lissner was very happy with the result.
"It couldn't be much better. He (Äme Anderberg) did great. We didn't expect this at all, but now have a great position for the upcoming king stage", said Nick Lissner.
The rider himself was also quite surprised, yet very glad that he managed to defend his lead.
"I really expected to lose the leader's jersey today, but as I got the split times, I knew I had a good ride. I'm very happy for the result as this is the best I've ever done. I might even put the result above my 3 top 3 positions in this Tour this season", said the leading rider.
Oskar Dam was once again unbeatable as easily took the victory infront of the upcoming time trialer Ib Bjørnholt. Oskar Dam is now 10th in the General Classification.
Jørg Mølgård finised 12th on the stage and is now placed 13th in the overall.

Äme took out the tour! Congrats
He really needed that. Can he hold on in the last two races? Race 9 should be good for him with all the hills but the final stage is a big ?
